What we keep, and why

Short version: this site has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking cookies. The only personal data it handles is what you type into the contact form, and that goes to us by email.

Who we are

SMASH DADDY LTD is the data controller for this website. Contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive your name, your organisation, your email address, what you run and what you need. We also log the IP address Cloudflare reports for the request, to stop abuse of the form.

Why, and on what basis

We use what you send to reply to you and to talk about working together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch. The IP log is also legitimate interests: keeping the form working for everyone.

Where it goes

Your message is emailed to a mailbox on our own hosting and read by Phil and Glen. We don't store it in a database on this site. We don't sell or share it, and we don't use it for marketing lists.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years after, then deleted. The abuse log is deleted after 24 hours.

Cookies and third parties

This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties: no analytics, no fonts from Google, no embedded players. Links out to the app, the station, Gumroad, Spotify, SoundCloud and social networks are covered by those services' own policies once you follow them.

Cloudflare

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and block attacks. Cloudflare acts as our processor.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Email [email protected]. If you're not happy with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

This policy was last updated on 27 October 2026. If the site starts doing anything new with your data, we'll change this page first.
